I can certainly say that I'd be invisible without the presence of my on-line blog at runningiseasy.com. Not only does my blog help to generate traffic, it also provides a way for me to tailor content and marketing according to what is in demand.

And I'll also add that - in 5 working days - the Ultimate Internet Boot Camp took me from knowing nothing about blogging to having a functional website generating leads for my business.

Thanks Alex!

Cheers!

I too have benefited immeasurably from your instruction, Alex -- I took the Teleseminar course and have just launched my series of audiocasts to help people write really, totally, magnificently (!) effective funding applications. I have several blogs and they attract people from all over the world to read my opinions on writing-related matters, my travelogues, my tips for bloggers, etc etc (the whole list of my blogs is available here http://www.marywwalters.com/index.php/blogs.html They all work together, and I find that they all bring interested people to find out more about my grant-writing audiocasts. Thanks for your ongoing support for the entrepreneurs out here in cyberspace and on the airwaves!

I have been setting thinking time aside for a few years now but I made it a biweekly thing last year.

One thing that happened in my thinking time, until I met Keith Cunningham, was that my thoughts would wander... which is fine IF that's what I need to do.

Keith mentioned that he had over 600 questions that he asks in his thinking time including "What don't I see?" which I've made an addition.

After hearing him say this, I decided that I would compile a list of some of my best questions for that time to help me focus and to really take the emotions out of my decisions. For instance, I always like to come back to these few:

"Is what I am doing in line with who I am?"

"Who is really in control?"

"Am I willing to accept the consequences of this behaviour/decision 1yr/3yr/5/yr/10yr down the road?"

I've compiled a bunch of them and I've given them to my customers. You can also grab a copy of my 101 questions here --> http://www.millionairementorsaccess.com/101-productivity-questions/

This is such an important lesson, Alex. This is one of those critical success factors that we much absolutely make time for. The challenge is that it is often one of the first things to go when we're being pressured by urgent and immediate issues. It really needs to be prioritized right up there with sleeping & eating.
