Revisit the World’s Greatest “Squeeze Page”
On September 4th of this year, I flew in my marketing Team for a one day planning meeting.
There we were, sitting in my dining room waiting to eat lunch when Eric Lingenfelter, my web development director, asked this interesting question:
“What’s the world’s greatest ’squeeze’ page?”
I thought about it. My other team members thought about it. We eventually went around the table with rapid-fire attempts to give the right answer.
But to every answer Eric kept shaking his head smiling and saying, “Nope, nope, nope, nope …” until I finally asked him what he thought was the world’s greatest squeeze page.
“The world’s greatest ’squeeze’ page is …
Drum roll …
Take a guess …

Stick Strategy: The “Quick Start” Video Tutorial
If you’re an Info Marketer, then a superb ”stick strategy” (maximizing profits while minimizing losses) is the “Quick Start” video tutorial.
By having Quick Start tutorials (like the one you see below), you’ll automatically eliminate the single biggest complaint new students, clients and customers have which is: “How do I get started!?”
This is the actual Quick Start Video available to all of my TSS Alumni and new 2009 Teleseminar Secrets students.
Did you watch the video yet?
Even if you decide NOT to register for this year’s Teleseminar Secrets course, I want you to start utilizing “Quick Start” video tutorials.
You candid comment is appreciated in advance.

The “Decoy” Pricing Model
According to Wikipedia, the “decoy effect” (also known as the ”asymmetric dominance effect”) is the phenomenon whereby consumers change their preference between two options when also presented with a third option that is asymmetrically dominated.”
In plainer language, here’s the way decoys are utilized daily during consumer experiences.
Scenario 1: You order a medium-size Pepsi at the movies for $2.75 and the person behind the counter asks, “Would you like a large for just 25 cents more?” You say, “Yes”… that’s the decoy effect.
Scenario 2: You’re sitting at the bar in an airport terminal waiting for your plane to board. As soon as you order your $7 cocktail, the bartender smiles and says, “Want a double-shot for just $2 more?” You say, “Yes”… that’s the decoy effect.
I have no idea what your consumer response would be in similar circumstances, but I do know from my own experience (more…)

Write Your Blog Posts by Repurposing
If you think you don’t have enough ideas to post to your blog regularly, please read on …
If you have done teleseminars, written articles, done podcasts, written a book or an e-book, or are thinking of writing a book, then you have so many blog posts you won’t know where to start!
A 60 minute teleseminar has the potential for dozens of blog posts. Your book or book idea is too many blog posts to count. And one 7 tips article is perfect for 7 (or more) blog posts.
Look at EVERYTHING you’ve already done and repurpose your own material into your blog posts.
The opposite of that works too. If you have a lot of blog posts already, repurpose them into other products. Your only limitation is your imagination.

Breaking Through the Far Side of Disappointment
Looking back on my own marketing accomplishments, one of the things I’m certain of is that my disappointments inspire me to storm the gates that others gladly sneak past.
When you learn how to handle disapointments – miscommunications, violated expectations or thwarted intentions – as welcomed guests into your business life, you’ll have the mindset of cheerful expectancy of having a breakthrough not long after :-)
If you feel what I’m saying is just a bunch of (more…)
