Do You Believe These to be 9 Unarguable Truths?
Facts or fiction? That’s the question that accompanies this recent email I got from a friend. Maybe you’ve seen it, maybe you haven’t … but I thought it was worth passing along :-)
These should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror where you can read it every day. You may not realize it, but the original ”sender” claimed that these are 100% true.
1) There are at least 2 people in this world that you would die for.
2) At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3) The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
4) A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.
5) Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6) You mean the world to at least 3 other people.
7) Someone that you don’t even know exists, trusts you.
8) When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
9) When you think the world has turned its back on you, take another look because what you see may surprise you.
Great personal friends and business colleagues are like stars … you don’t always see them, but you know they are always there :-)
Forward this blog post to your friends and colleagues, including giving me (Alex) a “comment” in the section below on this blog . And please don’t tell me you’re too busy for this, just do it.
Thanks for reading this post. And again, many thanks in advance for posting your comment below ;-)

Hey Alex,
great post.
I’m not sure if/how someone could prove that all of these are 100% true. That said, just like everything else these days, I suggest the following:
1) whether you think you can or you think you can’t – you’re right. So along the lines of this quote, I think if you agree with all of these, then they are true, and if you don’t agree, then they are possibly not.
2) you have to consider everything in this world and how it applies to you. In my case, there are several points in your post that I know are definitely true, even though we can see or measure them. Other points however, I would question.
The beauty is, we are all able to form our own perceptions. Great food for thought though!
Regards,
Alex this is a good follow-up to the “Shake it off and take a step up” (the donkey story)post because here are at least NINE GOOD REASONS to take whatever is in your way, stress, challenges, set backs, whatever, and shake it off and take a step up – thanks to you and they that sent you the email for the reminder today!

Hi Alex!
I just got this forwarded to me from a colleague and I’ve posted them onto my own blog.

I absolutely love these and I do believe them. A lot of these unarguable truths are easily believed when you have faith and love in your life. With those things, it’s a lot easier to believe (trust and know) that there are these people in our world.

Hi Alex,
Great post and I totally agree with these–and some of these are especially true when you are connecting on the Internet too.
Thanks so much for sharing. :)
Sounds good, but without testing all the statements out, I do not believe sll of them. (I do not buy pigs in pokes).
Keep up the good work.
Hi Alex,
I know for a fact that a few of these are true for me…the others I’m not sure about…but they sure are good things to consider and hope for! Anyway, they made me smile:-) Thank you!
BTW – I really appreciate your not sending us
L-O-N-G emails. Just a simple ‘check out my current blog entry,’ is refreshing, and if I can take the time I’ll do it.
Hi Alex,
Love the post. I believe that each one of those statements is true. I tried to think of one that wasn’t applicable and guess what?
There wasn’t one. I will be happy to pass this along to my friends.
I will see you on twitter.
Excellent comments! I think I have seen it before but do appreciate seeing it again.
“Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.”
Wow. Now if we could could get the names of each of those people, that’s a pretty good network. Thanx for the thots.
Great, everyone must see it that way
What a comforting thought! Even half of these truths would make my day. I am now very curious as to who sent it.
It’s nice to know that my smile will make someone happy, I shall smile more often. Warren
Hi Alex,
A brilliant post – thank you so much.
These are all profound beliefs that I hold close to my heart, because they remind that good is to be found in even the worst events. I just have to open my eyes and look for it.
Recently I have had occasion to be astonished by the level of support my friends and family afforded me at a majorly difficult time.
Now it is time for me to reciprocate whenever and wherever I can.
Sowing and reaping …

Hey I love it! Somebody, more than one, loves me, even though I may not be aware of it! Very comforting, especially if I happen to be feeling low. – Doc Meek
True! Love it.
Howdie Alex,
This post really made me think…
I’ve come to expect thought provoking things from you, and you have yet to dissapoint.
Like your other posts, I enjoyed reading this one and the mental process of delberating within my mind, as to whether or not each statment is true.
Thanks for sharing, again…:-)
This is a great post! Sometimes we do get tunnel vision, at least I know I do, and we don’t remember all of the people we impact and how our actions affect others.
This is a great reminder that we live in a world with 6 billion almost 7 billion other people and we are here to interact with each other and help others blossom in their experience of Human Potential.
Thanks Alex!
Hey Alex
Recently I studied feng shui and they would say not to post these in your bathroom. There’s a lot of flushing and water flowing away in bathrooms, so if you place in your bathroom anything that signifies your desired success – you may be flushing it away.
When I read that, it resonated with me, so I took out of our bathroom anything that related to goals etc.
Great post all the same, keep bringing it on

All 9 are true if you wish them to be true! Shades of the Donkey Story and The Secret.
Thanks Alex!
Whether 100% true or not, this surely helps contribute to better self esteem which makes it valuable to everyone.
Thanks Alex.
Hey Alex,
It’s the truth my man. Fantastic post for lifting the spirit.
We have more power in ourselves and love that surrounds us than we will ever believe… also if we have faith in a higher being that power and love is only multiplied.
Thanks Alex for sending this post, timely and much needed. It’s a good shot in the arm when you’re not having a spectacular day and serves as a great reminder that you are loved by someone, seen or unseen. Love the mystery in that. I love the one about someone you don’t know, trusting in you. That gets me excited to the day, I get to know who that is…Also encouraging to me is the statement that the only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you, wow, that lifts my mood right there. It’s a complement and shall take it as such! Thank YOU for forwarding these. They are pearls of encouragement.
Thanks for the post. Here’s another lesson in perspective…
My three and half year old daughter (#3 of 4 girls) has been asking to go with me on an errand I have to run each day. The drive is literally under 2 minutes, and in total, it takes about 12-15 minutes to complete.
The other day, I asked her why she likes to come with me.
Her response?
“I like when we talk in the car.” (Less than 4 minutes that she cherishes)
Lovely, Alex.
Makes me smile to read it.
Cheers,
Sheila
Hey Alex,
I love how diverse your posts are and I’m always excited to read what’s next. I especially like #8 & #9 as those are easy to forget.
As a Hypnotist, I believe that perception is reality. That the mere sharing of these

The great thing about this post is that while the “truths” involve very little action on our parts (except the smile), they all involve mental interaction with the world. If we perceive them to be true, they are, and if we don’t, some may or may not be true. I basically believe that they are true. Thanks for reminding me of the world around me and that none of us is really alone if we don’t want to be.

Alex,
Made me smile to think that someone who I don’t even know trusts me, or that at I mean the world to at least three people, or my favorite, A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you ~ Is it even possible that *anyone* doesn’t like me? ;) Just kidding, great post, thanks for sharing~

Alex,
As always, a profound and powerful message. Exactly 3.72984 billion people were in need of that message right now.
We had another very inspirational speaker on the line with us recently, Morris Goodman, The Miracle Man, who also had a very powerful message. You can hear his interview at http://www.networkmarketingreview.com
Just scroll down to see his picture (in a cowboy hat).

Hi Alex:
Oh Yeah! Definitely true!
I agree with you, post them where you can see them often to remind you that you are not alone, and that we are all part of the bigger picture.
As Jeff Herring mentions above “Shake it off and take a step up” that is what these statements can do for us.
Great Stuff.

Probably not or possibly so … but arguably 9 valid affirmations of worth that when respectively manifest in a life whether one or all would authenicate the value of a life so lived respective to the “truth” or respective “truths” so manifest.
Thanks for the provoking thought of your question… and for the challenge to us of once again placing a measure on what we believe to be “true” or “untrue”.

I like that & feelthere is a lot of truth in it
Hi to everyone here -
As I read through the list, I sensed all of them to be absolutely true instantly as I read them. However, #3 stopped me in my tracks for a while.
The word hate is far stronger than feeling jealous or feeling that something is grossly unfair. So I posed some questions to myself:
1. What if someone hated me because the color of my skin was black? Does that mean they want to be black?
2. What if someone hated me because my religion was different then theirs? Does that mean they want to practice my religion?
3. What if someone hated me because I killed someone? Does that mean they want to be a killer?
Or – could it be that the person who hates is actually already like the other person rather than ‘wanting’ to be like them – and they hate themselves for already being what they hate. For instance:
1. If I have black skin and someone hates me because of it, could it be I reflect a feeling in them that they are persecuted by someone or some circumstance in their own life?
2. If someone hated me because I am of a certain religious sect, could it be they hate something within their own religious beliefs?
3. If someone hated me because I’ve killed, could it be because I reflect the killer in them that already exists because they sanction war?
All the rest of the points have something to do with Love. Like Tina Turner wails “What’s love got to do with it?”
Giant billboards ala John Lennon style seem appropriate here.
I enjoyed the time I spent with this particular post because it furthered my belief that: I am the chooser of the person who lives inside of me and the more I see Love in the world, the more love I am generating. The more of any state of being I hold, the more I affect that kind of world into existence.
And I conjure up an image of a time when mankind stops focusing its collective thought energy on money as the objective to securing a good life, a time when humans use our magnificent superior intelligence to build a totally new civilization where individual success relates to our collective success as a species in communion with its host, the earth, and all life herein.
Thanks,Alex, for this post. I can put my musings here to good use in my life. Maybe even include some of them in my upcoming book and website.
Best always to you and your blog followers -
Interesting unshakable truths if they can be absorbed
into your daily thoughts and routines with all the crap coming right at you. If you treat each person as a treasure you will always be remembered as a truly rich beyond measure because money alone will not hug or laugh with you or cry with you or console you or touch your heart but it will allow you to do more of these things with many more of those you love and even those strangers that are just friends you have not met yet.
Dear Alex:

Everyone matters. That was a very inspirational post Alex. Thank you.
Hi Alex!
I like the fact that as busy as you are, you take time to reflect on simple truths and possibilites. Like one of the previous comments stated, I don’t know if this is 100% true, but I have learned one VERY important thing: NEVER, NEVER, assume.
Just when you think it’s over, it’s not. Just when you think you’ve got it all down, there’s always a surprise and something to learn. I think your post is a great way to start the day!
Continued success, :)
~ Cynthia
Your email was sent for me to read this in perfect timing. I was in the middle of helping my 16 year old son’s girlfriend deal with the ups and downs of their relationship. We were actually texting each other as he was driving back into town from visiting his ex-girlfriend. She was feeling sad, depressed and losing hope. Remember how it was when you were 16? Whew. I was telling her to trust in the Lord and how things have a way of working out even though right now she couldn’t see it. Your email popped in and when I shared the 9 things listed I told her it was sent with perfect timing..and how God helps us in mysterious ways, even thru the power of the internet. Was this coincendence? Maybe and then again maybe not. Either way it sure made her feel better. Thanks for sharing and with perfect timing I must say!

Alex,
Your ‘list’ put a smile on my face. I believe it is
true. Everything is connected in the Universe. When people
think and act as if the are separate and alone is when they
are the most miserable. If people would become more
aware of our connections, the world would be totally transformed.
At least that’s what I think.
Alex, you hit it right on the heart.
And you don’t prove. It is a believable
system. As you believe so share it turn out.

I particularly like #7 because if you’re an ethical marketer and value-oriented human being who over-delivers in helping others get the benefits they want, you will be overwhelmed by the multitudes you may never know who trust you.

Hi Alex,
I guess something like this is true until someone proves otherwise. However, what I really take from this is that this is a reminder of the power we have to influence someone’s life.
When you think about it that’s quite a responsibility because we can consciously choose to influence the life of another in a positive or a negative way.
Also, it’s not always all the big things that we do and grand ‘gestures’ that we make that have the biggest impact. It can be something as simple as a smile that can light up someone’s day.

These comments brought tears to my eyes, probably because I want them to be true. I hope they are – thanks for the words

Dear Alex,
Thanks for sharing with us the wonderful food for deeper thought.
The deep call to the deep in the text.
Moreover,it goes to show and remind us that all the stress of having to labour all day without a thinking about life are all in futility.
It makes a good reading.

Hey Alex –
Thanks for this inspirational post! It’s so nice to step back from internet marketing for a minute to realize that really the most important thing in our lives are the people we love and those that love us. And to take the time to tell them how much we appreciate them – especially our children.
Thanks for starting off the day with a wonderful message that we can all benefit from.
With continued gratitude,

Alex,
It was heart warming to receive your message regarding the 9 unarguable truths.
It has been a difficult time for me recently and your well timed message has proved encouragement, hope and a reminder about the power of self belief. Thank you

Hi Alex,
These facts can be proven if one engages in researching them. I also see them as faith and values we believe in. The power of the mind, thinking positively and feeling connected is important. We all belong here and can have positive impact on others.
You are very kind to remind us and to share your “virtual” wisdom with us.

Hi Alex-
Great blog. Great thoughts to read from all the others as well.
One person’s “fact” is another’s “fiction”. What is important is the truth you are living and not being judgemental of another’s truth.
Have a great day!

Interesting food for thought. I especially like #7 and the idea that whatever I may do impacts someone I don’t even know. So act positively and build trust in the people of the world.
I appreciate you.

Hi Alex
I write from Colombia, South America. Really, those positive sentences are welcome to every person in the world, and help to try to do our lives a little, or much, happier. The most important thing is not only read them but practice, because definitely everyone can help with something, a smile, a kiss, a word to to better days to everybody. Thank you…
Hey Alex,
Great ideas with great truths and never mind the actual numbers. They actually mean little. But the force of the truths are by far the most powerful.
And just to reinforce the bit about people being angry with you because they are jealous of where you stand right now, in the past and in the future. That position in time and space you have claimed. When you’ve done your best and done right, you will be proud, they will be green(with envy).
So take encouragement and do even more! This way you can even find friendlier green colours (the money kind) that will put a bigger smile on you and your loved ones.
Just my little encouragement to those who find themselves in this situation. We’ve all been there before wealth really gets built.
Great Wealth and Happiness,

Greetings Alex,
I believe these things, in faith, to be true. Perhaps faith toward helping each other to live better is vital. Reflecting upon some of our virtues as these 9 sayings suggest is perhaps a good exercise toward thinking for ourselves. In contrast, if all we do is adopt what others have offered then perchance our faith may be lost. I say, live more, laugh more, and love more and take back over your mind. Thanks Alex for sharing this with us.
Your friend,

Hey Alex I love it, I think fact or fiction is the wrong title though–half empty or half full is more like it. For those who have experienced these things and could think back and prove them in their own lives of course they were true. And for those who are in the position of hating someone because they want to be just like that person, well I think they would argue the legitemacy. I would like to believe these statements are true, or at the very least inspiring, I’m a glass half full kind of guy.
P.S Alex you are brilliant thank you for sharing your discoveries, tactics, and strategies with the world. God Bless.
When I read things like this, I realize that all is right with world.
I happen to be confronting a difficult personal situation and this post is “just what the doctor ordered”.
Thanks. We do not count our blessings often enough.
Hello Alex,
I just love what I’ve read!
It makes me feel happier, just remembering how each setence is so true! I’ve emailed it to all the people I care about and love.
I’d also like to share this with french speaking friends (some of them don’t speak any english).

Your post gave me an “Arsenio moment,” Alex. Remember TV talk show host’s monologue, when he’d pose a question or share an observation and then pause, touch his fingertips to his temple and say, “Makes you wanna go, ‘Hmmmm.’”
When I finished reading your list of truths, I found myself going, “Hmmm…”
Thanks!

P. S. Keep it coming.
Although I cannot prove that these are true, I sense that they are. They were a comforting reminder to believe in the power of relationships and the universe. Today I want to believe that you Alex are my personal friend and mentor to help spread an important project throughout the world!
Alex,
Interesting article. Reminds me that there is a person out there who can pass as a twin or sibling not part of your family. It’s just the truth, and sometimes we’re lucky to run into our “look alike”.

Right on Alex…
And…
#10) The secret to enjoying abundance–a.k.a. “wealth”–in your life, be that financial, physical, emotional, or spiritual, is to GIVE abundantly and FREELY.
As many have commented, it is a thing of awe and beauty to feel/realize/believe we are or could be so well loved. But whether someone loves us or not is not up to US- it’s up to THEM. Our ‘job’ is to become a person who is loving and lovable. THAT, we have some control over, and works its own magic in our spheres of influence.
There’s another old story of the monastery in decline. Then a rumor begins to circulate that ‘the chosen one’ is living in hiding there. Not knowing just who it is, the monks and townspeople start being kind and caring to all they meet, ‘just in case’ it’s the Chosen One. Within a short time the monastery and surrounding village are vibrant and thriving again. This, then, attracts the desired Chosen One (who was probably the instigator of the rumor from afar), but also creates the kind of ‘heavenly’ environment sought after anyway.
In the same way, it’s often been a revelation to many of my students (and not just the teenagers!) that to be considered interest-ING by others, it starts with being interest-ED in others first. What a concept! Once again, we can do something about that through how we think and act.
Thanks for the continued inspiration, Alex. And Namaste!
Hi Alex!
Great topic… I have seen a similar listing in the past.
I would have to say that I likewise agree with many of the other posts above. For me personally I’d say this to be 100% true.
It is all a matter of faith and belief.
Our belief system has a direct relation to what occurs in our individual reality. Thus, the more we believe something to be a truth or how much that something is actually true in our own lives, then those thoughts become what our reality and experiences are molded from.
Keep up the great work with everyone Alex!
