This simple 4-quadrant model offers an interesting and fresh new perspective into the abundance vs. scarcity mindsets and I’ve chosen it as my topic of discussion on the evening of January 21st, during the Virtual Abundance Expo.

What Is The Think-Play Matrix? Picture an “X-Y Axis” that has a 4-quadrant grid inside it.  The “X” axis that runs east and west represents the way you Think.   It’s about the “inner game” of the thoughts driven by the head, or what you think about.

The “Y” axis that runs north and south represents the way you Play. It’s more about the “outer game” of what your heart inspires you to do , or how you play.

TWITTER: No One Cares?

Nobody CaresCould it be true? Nobody cares about what you “tweet” about on Twitter?

Yes, it could be true.

IF you are just blathering uninteresting stuff about your life and not interacting with anyone.

IF you are DMing people with your latest “Mafia Wars” news (do you even HAVE a life?) or giving someone a gift of “Corona” and demanding a gift back (truly bad form).

It’s sad too, because your could be using your Twitter platform to make a difference in the lives of those who want and need to learn from you.

So then the question becomes “Just what do we tweet about then, Jeff?”

I’m glad you asked. I’ve got a new article all about what to tweet about. Here’s a hint: It’s all about tweeting about LIFE!

Each year in late December, I’ve shared our Holiday Greetings videos from our home.  This video happens to be my favorite because I’m not in the video, but our newest addition to our family is … her name is Ginger and she loves unconditionally :-)

You can click on any of the pictures from previous years.  The faces may change and the teams may change, but what seems to remain consistent is the evolution of holiday spirit.

And as you watch and smile at how my children – Gabriel and Breanna – have evolved sitting on Santa’s lap year after year, I encourage you to think about what your #1 area of improvement was for 2009.

In what area of your personal or professional life would you consider yourself most improved?  What seemingly overwhelming challenge did you conquer?  What problem did you solve?  What predicament did you overcome?
